I am looking for resources for my teenagers who recently joined me for Camp Nanowrimo. Does anyone know of any books, blogs, YouTube videos, etc. that I could show them? (Also, if anyone knows of something I can show my preteen, that would be helpful as well.) TIA!
Abbie Emmons on youtube has amazing writing videos that are very teen friendly.
When I was a wee teenage writer, I used these resources:
- http://cerey.github.io/fighters-block/# (I still love this so very, very much)
Hope this helps!
Sigh! My phone is not cooperating with me, but I don’t want to forget to respond! There are a ton of useful things on my quick list, but the GoodReads booklist (right at the top) has quite a few teen-centric titles on it. (My phone cooperates, so: edit!) Writing And Publishing: A teen’s Ultimate Guide is probably my top go-to book!
Also, NaNoWriMo is putting out a book called “Brave the Page”, releasing tomorrow (August. 27th), which might be worth checking out too!
This has helped me in my writing.
