Music to Write Villainously to

I don’t know about you guys, but to me, villains are a blast to write. Until you can’t seem to get into your big bad’s headspace. The right music melts that divide. It can create a perfectly fiendish atmosphere to get that diabolical inspiration flowing. This topic is for you guys to leave the songs, albums, or playlists you listen to when writing those dastardly characters!

Currently, these tunes are striking the morally lacking cord for my baddies.
~ Blood in the Cut by K.Flay
~ Dear Dictator by Saint Motel
~ Empire & the Sun by The Moth & The Flame
~ Ghost by The Horrors
~ Bad Intentions by Digital Daggers
~ Dangerous by Son Lux
~ Maurice’s Monsters by Small Leaks Sink Ships
~ Wolf Like Me by Lera Lynn
…and many more! Did I mention I love writing villains?

Looking forward to listening to all your prime picks!

I’ve actually been a bit disturbed with how easily I’ve been able to get into the head of my most recent villain, lol. But definitely thanks for these recs! Here are some I’ve got:

It Makes No Difference Who We Are - Celldweller
Arsonist’s Lullabye - Hozier
A Little Wicked - Valerie Broussard
Kingdom Fall - Claire Wyndham
Devil’s Playground - The Rigs
